For my favorite holiday ever…my favorite pie ever!

November 17, 2014 by Amy Langrehr

Sure, I like pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving dinner. And sweet potato. And apple. But what I really want is chocolate cream pie. This one is so good. If you want to make it more Thanksgiving-y, maybe add maple or something otherwise autumnal (I love that word, so fanc…) to the whipped cream topping.

In praise of the best holiday. Ever.

November 11, 2014 by Amy Langrehr

October 6, 2014 by Amy Langrehr

This is by far my most favorite soup. Ever. In the whole world. p.s. It’s not on your stupid diet… My favorite part of the recipe is that last line that reads, “Serve hot with a garnish of hot bacon.” Thank you, Ina. I know we could be pals. Photo: Pink Parsley Ina Garten’s Cheddar Corn …

Add some flavor to your cooking with celeriac

September 8, 2014 by Amy Langrehr

Photo: Martha Stewart Celeriac (also known as celery root) is an ingredient that I would actually say I’m obsessed with…and it will be in season any minute. I primarily use it in butternut squash soup, but you can also use it in salads, slaw, stock and more. Look for bright green leaves and solid, crisp …
