The Battle of the Sommeliers: Who Will Prevail?

January 21, 2015 by Amy Langrehr

Pairing wine with food…the possibilities are endless!

Wit & Wisdom is hosting the next battle of the sommeliers on January 27 at 7pm. It’s a fun competition between Wit & Wisdom’s Sommelier, Julie Dalton, and Sommelier Chris Coker of Aggio. The two will be pitted against each other and present rival wine  pairings for a five-course dinner created and served by Executive Chef Zack Mills. Dinner guests will vote on who paired the courses best and crown the winner. Who will reign supreme??

Tickets are still available for this intimate, informative wine event at Wit & Wisdom in Harbor East for $100 per person plus tax and gratuity. One thing I have learned over the past few years is that when I attend events like this, I am rarely disappointed, so dinners like this are very special. I love having the opportunity to learn and ask pros like Julie and Chris all of my questions about wines and pairings. Plus, dinner by Zack Mills is always such a treat!
